Thanksgiving and other stuff...

Happy Thanksgiving!! and soon it will be Merry Christmas! where is the time going?? well it's been crazy here so I haven't had time to post in awhile and our internet has been broken for awhile too! Olivia is growing like a weed now - something happened and she grew 2 lbs in a month! Praise the Lord! The doctor was concerned when we went in for her 6month check (I thought she was doing fine) but we went back in a couple weeks ago and she is gaining weight like a pro! good girl! Also, this past month my mom got diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma, so we have been running around to doctor appointments with her, and chemo treatments, and going to her house alot to keep her company since she really isn't supposed to go anywhere. Olivia is being such a good girl through all this craziness and she is also such a blessing to all of us as we face this cancer with Mom. Anyways, Mom is doing pretty good - she has her 2nd round of chemo this Friday...We appreciate everyone's prayers - It is very obvious that people are praying and it's a comforting thought :)

What a little sweetie!! We are practicing sitting up...and she is getting more interested in books! she chewed on this one for quite awhile! ha ha What a big girl :)

A Weekend at Grandma's

Mark went hunting the last two weekends and Olivia and I went to my mom's for the weekend! We had such a good time! Olivia got to spend quality time with Grandma and Grandpa, we went to my mom's work to "help" and Olivia LOVED the mirrors! She is getting so vocal about everything...it's so funny! We go back to the Dr. next week to make sure she is putting on weight like she should be so hopefully she is!!

Olivia is so funny! I can't believe how much she has changed just this week! she's definitely getting bigger, but her personality is really coming out lately! she is such a ham when you get the camera out - we say "SMILE" and she does!! She's also discovered how to spit and thinks it's funny to do it while she is supposed to be eating! She is doing so much better at entertaining herself, and all the noises she is learning how to make - she makes them as LOUD as she can!! such a fun little girl!

These two got missed when i was posting last! I came into the living room to find Olivia chewing on my shoe but as soon as i got the camera out - she wasn't interested in the shoe anymore! this was the closest i got to getting a pic with the shoe in her mouth! silly child!

Olivia has figured out when to smile when we get the camera out! I'm not sure if it's the beep right before we take the pic or if its the orange light she sees, but we say "SMILE" and she does! it's so funny! such a little ham! she also really enjoys carrots - we just started baby food this week and carrots seem to be her favorite by far! she's liked everything I've given her, but she REALLY liked the carrots! :) She is so much fun!! I can't believe she is 6 months old already!! good grief!!
