Olivia Marie Poorman!!

She's finally here!! Our precious baby girl arrived Friday, April 25th at 5:20pm. She weighed 6lbs 5oz, measured 20inches long, and has beautiful dark hair!! The new grandparents are so excited and the new aunts and uncle too! She's beautiful and we will be adding more pictures soon!!

Kathi's Shower

This past Saturday Kathi had a shower for the baby and I at her house! It was so nice - lots of people, mostly family - Tia and the girls even came with the new little baby boy!! The grandmas-to-be got some special recognition and got to wear lovely sashes the whole time!! We played some fun games, Jenni did a great job with them, and Katie got REALLY embarrassed at one of them and we all got a good laugh at her expense! but she's used to that and handles it so well! We also got some great gifts again - so fun!!

Today was my last day teaching elementary PE... here are some of the faces that I will be missing!

Party at Mom's

This past Saturday was another shower for this little baby who is coming oh so soon!! Tammy hosted it at my mom's house and did a fabulous job!! We had so much food and it was all really good, lots of prizes for the fun party games we played too! Alot of the Fredricks were there and it's always exciting then! :) But probably the best part of the day happened even before everyone got to the house! My precious sisters came home and surprised me!! I had no idea until I walked into their room and saw them sitting on their bed! And then the tears started to flow!!! Mom did a very good job at keeping this secret, I have to hand it to her!! It was a wonderful day, and once again, I was overwhelmed at all the gifts! Thank you to all who were involved!

Church Shower

Tonight was my first baby shower and it was so fun! It was at church, and Jenni, Chrystal, Klarissa, and Mrs. Strayer-Pally hosted it - they did such a nice job! It was a beautiful shower and lots of people came! Klarissa made the most AMAZING cake - definitely the best one she's ever made!!! We got so many nice things...it's hard to believe the baby will soon be here and wearing the clothes we got tonight! Doesn't seem possible! But she will be here soon!!! yay!

so busy!!

Hello all!! Sorry it's taken us awhile to post! we have been busy busy busy!! That's us at the winter retreat a few weeks ago - Mark the ping pong champ, and me attempting to keep warm - no coats will button around my belly so i had to get creative!! we also took a trip to see Troy, Erin and Jenny over at MBBC, and most recently...we finished our birthing classes this past weekend! so now we are ready for the baby to come!! the doctors wanted to do a second ultrasound on me two weeks ago to make sure Baby was growing well, and everything was good so praise the Lord for that! We are at 34 weeks and counting! so exciting! I also finished watching my babies last week...and i miss them already! :( but i am getting things ready for our baby, so that is distracting me! Not sure how long i will keep teaching PE....so far it's still going just fine, so we'll see! anyways, that's all for today!! see ya
